It tells the story of Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Buddingham, who have a long-standing rivalry that has reached its climax. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. I really enjoyed this series, I watched it in two days. I couldn’t pick out a character that stood out, all the actors did a fantastic job. I think their facial expressions and dialogue really added to the story. As an 80s fan, the set design, costumes and of course the use of music were a fantastic bonus. Whoever is responsible for the music: you are a genius. The timing of some of the songs was perfect. For me, the erotic walls could have been less revealing, so I gave it 9 stars instead of 10. I really hope there is a new series, I can’t wait to see it!
